Luke’s friends Evan & Devin are essentially indistinguishable from each other. They work with Luke at a small tech startup in Brooklyn. They were born in the suburbs of northern New Jersey and have been living in Brooklyn for 4 years. Their biographies inform Luke’s character much more than their own, as Luke’s group of friends is a reflection of his desire to remain young and in touch with popular culture.
Season 1: Evan & Devin teach Mike the behavioral norms for a sex party while hanging out at Luke’s house before the big night. The sex party gets cancelled, so the group of men decide to hang out and watch Netflix together.
